Whether you are stumped with what to do with a small room or in need of a complete overhaul of your home, we have the design expertise and experience to help.

At HITE HOUSE, we recognize form and function are the essential elements of a well designed space. How you want to live in your space is the first step in determining how it should be designed.

Balance, smart use of color, layers of texture, scale and light add the warmth, atmosphere and dimension that can make any space inviting, which are the basic building blocks of any well designed space. But how does that relate to you? In order to make your space uniquely yours, we take it a step further.

We look for insight into your personal style. Taking cues from your lifestyle, personality and asking questions, we take time to learn about you, so that we can infuse your unique aesthetic into your space. No cookie cutter rooms here. Just like the many layers of you, we build your room layer by layer. Resulting in a balanced, functional, beautiful space that looks and feels like home.

Our History

In 2006, we opened our first showroom, called HER WAY DESIGNS in New Buffalo, Michigan servicing clients throughout the Greater Chicago Areas, Northwest Indiana, Southwest Michigan and Detroit Metro Areas.

Our newest retail and custom showroom, HITE HOUSE, opened in Kalamazoo, Michigan summer of 2013.

Areas We Service

We are willing to schedule appointments throughout Michigan, Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana. If you are outside these areas we are open to discuss on a case by case basis.

Fees

For your initial consultation appointment we charge $300 to cover our travel and time.

Consultation Process - What Your $300 Covers

Appointment 1 - We will discuss the scope of your project, establish function of space(s), traffic flows, determine expectations, estimated budget, color palette and take measurements.

Appointment 2 - Presentation Stage, (no additional charge). We will present estimates, color boards, fabric samples, sketches, renderings, etc and determine course of action.

Appointment 3 - this appointment and appointments thereafter will be determined by the scope of the project.

No worries! We can still help. We have had great success working on projects remotely! It's really quite simple. All we need are your measurements, color palette and a few photos.
